Macaw's Doors adds doors of various types and styles to Minecraft. In the vanilla game each wood type has only a single door design, and the choice of styles is limited to wooden and iron doors. The mod expands this set: you get vanilla designs for every wood type, as well as entirely new categories — sliding, garage, barn, latticed and others.

Vanilla designs for all wood types
The core idea of the mod is to remove the link between a door's design and a specific wood type. If in the vanilla game oak doors have one look and spruce doors another, and you can't get the oak design out of birch, here it works. Every vanilla door design can be crafted from any wood: oak, birch, spruce and all the rest.
For this, the system of Door Prints is used. A print is a special crafting item that stores a particular design. You craft, for example, a print for acacia doors, and then combine it with planks of the wood type you want at the crafting table. One print — one style, any wood.
New door categories
Besides the vanilla variants, the mod adds separate door categories with their own designs and behaviour. Below is a list of the main types.
Wooden doors
Wooden doors make up the largest part of the content. There are barn doors with diagonal planks (including a variant with glass inserts), cottage stable doors, beach, tropical, paper, latticed and other styles. Mystic and Nether doors, styled after the corresponding biomes, stand out separately.

Sliding doors
Sliding doors open by gliding to the side rather than by the usual swinging. This category includes Japanese-style shoji doors and sliding glass doors. They all have their own animation effects, different from the standard ones.

Metal doors
Metal doors are iron variants with details such as push handles and safety markings. Like vanilla iron doors, they require a redstone signal to open — when you hover the cursor over the item, a corresponding tooltip appears. Prison barred doors also belong here.

Special door types
Among the special types are swinging western doors at half the height of the opening, garage doors with an upward-opening animation, and wooden sliding doors.

Properties and behaviour
All ordinary (non-sliding and non-special) doors have the same properties as vanilla ones: opening/closing sounds, interaction with redstone, correct influence on NPC pathfinding. The mod uses custom tags for each category — barn_doors, mystic_doors, garage_doors and so on — which is useful for datapack authors when configuring recipes or mechanics via tags.
Conclusion
Macaw's Doors adds dozens of new doors. Instead of one design per door type you get dozens of combinations through the print system, and the new categories (sliding, garage, shoji) let you style an entrance to fit any architectural style. The mod is a good fit for players who are into building and decorating — from medieval fortresses to modern cities.
Installation
A typical installation takes about 5 minutes. The flow is the same; only the loader and the matching build differ.
