Resolution: 16x
Archive size: ~1 MB
Crystal Vanilla Tweaks is a texture pack built specifically for the Crystal PvP combat format in Minecraft. It doesn't repaint the graphics wholesale — the game keeps its familiar vanilla look — but it makes targeted changes to whatever slows down your reactions in a fight: the size of items in hand, the Totem of Undying animation, and the brightness of the interface.
Style
The base stays vanilla: 16x resolution, the same palette and block silhouettes as the standard game. The changes are about readability in combat, not the overall look. The wool textures are taken from a different pack — they're crisper than the default ones, so block colors are easier to tell apart while building or when surrounding an opponent with obsidian.
What's changed
The tweaks fall into a few groups, all working toward one goal — less clutter on screen during fast crystal trades.
Items. The size of items held in hand has been reduced. In a fight, a player is constantly switching between an End Crystal, obsidian, a Totem of Undying, and potions — a smaller model leaves more open space in the center of the screen and doesn't block the view of the opponent.

End Crystal. In some builds of the pack, the End Crystal model has been made three-dimensional (3D) instead of flat. The change is purely visual — the item's behavior and blast radius stay the same.

Totem of Undying. The activation animation of the Totem of Undying has been shortened. The default totem covers half the screen for a moment after it triggers, while the reduced version keeps the battlefield visible — important for the moment when you need to place the next crystal right away.

Interface. The HUD has been darkened and made partially transparent. The hotbar and status bars are less distracting, while icons stay clearly visible on light-colored locations.
Technical requirements
Thanks to the 16x resolution and an archive of about 1 MB, the load on the system is minimal, and the pack has no effect on FPS. It works with no extra setup — once activated in the resource pack list, the changes apply immediately.
The 3D End Crystal model isn't included in every build of the pack.
Conclusion
Crystal Vanilla Tweaks clears clutter off the screen during fights without breaking Minecraft's vanilla look. Smaller items and totem free up the center of the screen, the darkened HUD is less distracting, and the 16x base means no FPS drops. A good fit for players who play Crystal PvP on servers and want a cleaner view without switching to heavy high-resolution packs.
Installation
A typical installation takes about 5 minutes. The flow is the same; only the loader and the matching build differ.
